The Autumn Festival Celebration originally planned for this Sunday September 19th is cancelled. Instead the executive board members will be hosting a special prayer (by sin) for the Protector Kwan Kung on Sunday September 19th at 12:00 PM at  the Fui Toong On Society building downtown.

Everyone is welcome to join us in this prayer

Statues and shrines of General Kwan Kung holding his “Kwan Dao” confidently in his right and stroking his beard of wisdom with his left can be found in many households, businesses and buildings as a sign to ward off enemies, negative energy and evil. The Kwan Kung figure in such a protective position is best displayed in places where he can guard chi entry points and building entrances.

The Ping Sing Family family appreciate your time and sacrifice over the past few days for those who have traveled far, taken time from work or have made other sacrifices to attend the funeral. The flowers were lovely, the donations were generous, your presence was a great comfort to the family and it was good to see everyone, even under adverse circumstances.

Thank you for your support and thoughtful words in this difficult time.

– Brian Chin Ping Sing and Family
